At Promise Land Academy, education doesn’t stop when the bell rings. Through dynamic after-school partnerships with the Manna Foundation, we offer transformative enrichment programs designed to build confidence, develop character, and empower every student to thrive mentally, emotionally, creatively, and spiritually.

🎨 Color Me Confident Initiative

Empowering Students from the Inside Out Through our signature partnership with the Color Me Confident Initiative, students engage in weekly after-school sessions that focus on:

• Social-Emotional Learning
• Biblical Affirmations and Identity Building
• Creative Expression through Coloring & Journaling
• Self-Worth, Mindfulness, and Emotional Resilience

Each session provides a safe, affirming space for students—especially girls and underserved youth—to express themselves, reflect, and grow. Students receive their own Color Me Confident affirmation coloring book and journal, fostering healing and hope through creativity.

💼 Young CEO: Youth Entrepreneurship Bootcamp

Led by Manna Foundation mentors and community entrepreneurs, this hands-on program introduces students to:

• Business planning and product development
• Branding and financial literacy
• Public speaking and pitch practice
• Real-world exposure through youth market days

Students learn what it means to own their ideas and walk in leadership.

🧑🏽‍🍳 Culinary & Cultural Arts Club

From meal prep to multicultural cooking, students get to:

• Explore global flavors
• Learn kitchen safety and healthy eating
• Connect culture to community through food
• Share recipes and serve others

🧠 Leadership & Legacy Circles

Weekly mentorship and small-group sessions centered on:

• Biblical values and moral leadership
• Decision-making, empathy, and responsibility
• Conflict resolution and relationship building
• Creating personal legacy projects

Led by local leaders, pastors, and certified mentors.

🎭 Creative Arts & Expression Lab

Where students explore:

• Spoken word, drama, music, and dance
• Visual arts, photography, and storytelling
• Confidence-building through performance and showcase opportunities

💻 Digital Skills & Future-Ready Tech

Tech-forward after-school options include:

• Basic coding and app creation
• Multimedia design using Canva
• Safe social media training
• Digital citizenship and virtual entrepreneurship

🧩 Homework Help & Academic Coaching

Structured support for students needing extra academic help in:

• Reading comprehension
• Math support
• Study skills and test prep
• ESL and bilingual assistance

After-school programs run Monday–Thursday from 3:30–5:30 PM.
Special events, guest speakers, and family nights happen monthly.
